Dhoni’s cryptic Morse Code T-shirt ahead of CSK training: A hint at impending retirement?

Chennai Super Kings’ talismanic wicketkeeper-batter Mahendra Singh Dhoni has once again triggered retirement rumours after he landed in the city on Wednesday ahead of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.

Dhoni was seen wearing a black T-shirt when he landed at the airport. But it wasn’t the shirt or its make which caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans.

The pattern on his shirt was made of dots and dashes. When interpreted, it turned out to be Morse code for “One Last Time.”

CSK faithfuls were quick to take to their social media platforms and in no time ‘ONE LAST TIME’ began trending in India.

Dhoni has played 264 matches for the franchise, scoring 5,243 runs and leading the side to five titles.

CSK will kickstart its pre-season training on Thursday with a 10-day camp at the CSK High Performance Centre in Navalur, CEO Kasi Viswanathan said. All available Indian players, including Dhoni, will be attending the camp.

Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, batters Shaik Rasheed, Vansh Bedi, and Andre Siddarth, bowling all-rounder Ramakrishna Ghosh, pacers Khaleel Ahmed, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Mukesh Choudhary, Anshul Kamboj, and Gurjapneet Singh, and support staff Tommy Simsek (physiotherapist) and Gregory King (trainer) are among those who’ve already arrived in Chennai.
