The 31st edition of the FIBA Asia Cup is set to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from Tuesday, with 16 teams seeking to clinch the top continental honours.

Australia is the two-time defending champion of the quadrennial tournament after beating Lebanon in the final of the 2022 edition (delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic). Meanwhile, China is the most successful team in the competiton with 16 titles.

Winners of the quarterfinals will then advance to the semifinal, where the victors will head into the finale to battle for the championship. The losing sides, meanwhile, will face each other in a third-place match.
